About this project
The challenge:
This is a passion project of mine for an app I am currently building with an engineer and a business planner. The nitty gritty is under wraps right now, but the main goal of the app is to allow people to obtain products from other countries. Vague, I know, but it will be awesome. The challenge is this: building a product from absolutely nothing to a legit, money-making machine.
Research phase:
The birth of this passion project started almost 10 years ago when my husband and I visited South Korea and had some of the most amazing food there, including ramen we could not get anywhere else unless it was shipped to us personally by his cousin who owned the ramen company. We soon observed that many people who visited South Korea wished they could obtain food products that were exclusively available in Korea and nowhere else. I thought creating a platform that enabled people all across the world to connect and send packages to each other would be a small niche’s dream come true.

Wireframing phase:
Wireframing is being done in Sketch because I am impatient to get this project rolling and wireframing in Balsamiq actually slows me down.
Design phase:
I have not reached this coveted phase yet as I’m still in research and wireframing now. Stay tuned!
